LASER
SKIN RESURFACING
Non-Ablative Fractional 1540
Common aesthetic concerns that are easily tackled with non-ablative fractional resurfacing include sun-damage, fine lines, stretch marks, surgical scars, acne scars, uneven skin texture or tone, skin laxity, crepey skin and neck lines. These bothersome aesthetic conditions can be difficult to improve with other solutions but, with our Icon™ laser technology, we can improve your skin quickly and easily. Fractional laser does not break or peel the skin thus there is not extensive "downtime." However, to correct certain issues, like deep acne scars, a series of treatments may be necessary.

Erbium Ablative Laser 2940
The Erbium laser is highly effective in resurfacing the skin of the face and neck. The treatment can result in tighter skin with over all reduced fine and deep lines or wrinkles as well as removal of sun damage and textural irregularities. This one-time treatment provides dramatic results with fast recovery and minimal downtime.
The Icon Erbium laser couples well with the Platelet Rich Plasma treatment which will not only enhance the overall anti-aging effects of the treatment but also aid in rapid healing.

Which Is The Best Option For You?
Our free consultation is the best way to determine which treatment is going to work for you and your skincare needs. However, here are a few general points to consider in regards to differences between resurfacing techniques.
While both treatments only treat a "fraction" of the skin in the treatment area which allows for rapid healing, there will still be an effect on the skin. The answer is the 1540 can be used on all skin types to treat scars, wrinkles and skin laxity. The amount of “down time” from social activities can vary based on the intensities of the settings. The 1540 typically is done in a series of treatments.
On the other hand, the erbium is an ablative treatment which requires a week of social down time. It can only be preformed on Fitzpatrick 1,2,3 skin types. It allows for all new skin and a renewed a appearance in less than a month with 1 session.

Adding Platelet-Rich-Plasma to a resurfacing treatment is the ultimate in resurfacing and healing! With a resurfacing treatment the skin has been broken down in fractionated columns either below or above the top layer of skin and left to heal. By placing your own healthy PRP in the area during and after laser simply helps heal it and regenerate it rapidly while stimulating growth factors to produce the elements necessary to plump, hydrate, tighten and re-vascularize.
