Reduction in appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, improved skin tone, texture and softer, younger-looking skin with fewer signs of aging. MicroPen can improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, acne scars, traumatic scars and stretch marks.
We recommend approximately 20mins for topical numbing (lidocaine, tetracaine, Benzacaine or a combo) to anesthetise the area. The actual treatment takes 15-20 minutes depending on the surface area.
A sterile cartridge containing 12-24 tiny micro-tips is attached to the MicroPen. Sterile saline is used during the procedure to clean the skin. The depth of the micro-tips, the number of passes and technique is all customized per patient by our highly trained Professionals.
A glide is used to help move the MircoPen along the skin surface. Premier Medical Spa’s standard glide is Eclipse Hyaluronic Acid, Skinceuticals Hyaluronic Acid or SkinMedica HA5.

Immediately after the treatment, you will notice a bright redness in your skin which subsides quickly. The total healing time depends on the pen depth used and the number of overlapping passes to your skin during the treatment. On average, ’social downtime’ is complete 2-4 days. We advise keeping the skin clean and avoid products/make up over night. If prone to cold sores we will prescribe an antiviral prior to treatment.
